Micro Credit Programme-MCP

Through these four projects under our Micro Credit Programme (MCP), Jano Unnayan Foundation is committed to promoting economic empowerment, reducing poverty, and fostering sustainable development in rural Bangladesh. We believe that access to financial resources, coupled with targeted training and support, can transform the lives of the underprivileged, with a particular focus on women and children, youth, elderly people, and individuals with disabilities

Micro Credit Programme-MCP

Agriculture

The Agriculture Project under the Micro Credit Programme (MCP) by Jano Unnayan Foundation aims to empower rural farmers by providing them with access to financial resources. Through microloans and training, we enable small-scale farmers to invest in better seeds, fertilizers, and equipment, ultimately increasing their agricultural productivity and income. This project not only contributes to poverty reduction but also strengthens food security in the communities we serve.

Small Trading

Our Small Trading Project, a part of the Micro Credit Programme (MCP), focuses on supporting budding entrepreneurs in rural areas. We provide microloans to individuals interested in starting or expanding small businesses. By offering financial assistance and business training, we help these entrepreneurs establish sustainable enterprises, stimulating economic growth within their communities and reducing poverty.

Livestock

The Livestock Project, a component of the Micro Credit Programme (MCP), addresses the livelihood needs of rural families by promoting animal husbandry. Through accessible microloans and training in livestock management, we empower individuals to raise healthy and productive livestock. This project not only enhances income but also contributes to the overall well-being of families by ensuring a steady source of nutrition and livelihood.

Rural Transport

In remote rural areas, lack of transportation options can hinder economic activities and access to essential services. The Rural Transport Project, within our Micro Credit Programme (MCP), provides microloans to individuals interested in owning or operating transportation services such as bicycle rickshaws, vans, or small boats. By facilitating improved mobility, this project plays a crucial role in enhancing economic opportunities and quality of life in these underserved communities
